MCLF Logo Design wins Hermes Creative Award

JDH ideas has been selected again as a recipient of an Hermes Gold Statuette and Award, an international design competition,  for the Mike Clark Legacy Foundation logo. The logo design, in its infancy, went through a variety of stages, some great, some bad, where the logo was being developed by Jon Hall and the great people at the Mike Clark Legacy Foundation. Through much deliberation and, eventually finding a common ground, the Mike Clark Legacy Foundation logo was created and has been the iconic reminder that the goal of the MCLF is the support of the community, youth education, and youth athleticism throughout the Delaware and surrounding areas. As a partner with the Delaware Community Foundation, the MCLF strives to secure a place in the landscape of non-profit organizations.

About the Hermes Creative Award

Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. The Hermes Creative Award is a majestic symbol of the ancient Greek messenger. In Greek mythology, Hermes is also the Olympian god of orators and wit, of literature and poets, and invention and commerce in general. The unique interpretation embodies the spirit of marketing and communication professionals carrying their message to their audience.

The Hermes Messenger statuette was sculptured and cast exclusively for the Hermes Creative Awards by the Entenmann-Rovin Company of Los Angeles, the same craftsmen that produce the Golden Globe Awards. The award stands 13 inches tall on a hardwood base and is engraved with the winner's name and entry information. The Hermes statuette exemplifies the attention to detail and creative achievement of Platinum and Gold Winners.
