mclf events - a rundown of what we do
The MCLF is 100% volunteer-driven with extremely low administrative costs. The following committees have been established to implement its goals: The Fundraising Committee; The Communications Committee; The Event Selection Committee; and the Program Development Committee. When ever possible, the MCLF obtains supplies for its events on a donated basis.
In the span of just a few months, without any start-up funds, and at a time when both the Delaware and national economies are struggling, the MCLF has successfully organized several fund raising events, and to date has raised more than $75,000. While the MCLF is very pleased and encouraged by its early successes, the MCLF realizes much more needs to be done to fully implement its mission. The MCLF is now focused upon raising additional substantial funds sufficient to support specific and measurable education programs for at-risk youth.
Our success is driven by the participants of our events. Together, with your help, we can continue to provide funds to the necessary recipients and have fun doing it. Visit our featured and past events to see what we have done in the Delaware and surrounding areas.
