Great friendships may be few and far between, but if you're lucky enough to cultivate one, you are truly blessed.
Nine months ago today, all of our lives changed in an instant, and as tragic as Mike's death was, we each are blessed with our own memories of Mike to hold on to. With Mike's passing I was able to meet the friends of Mike's that I have heard so much about over the years. I would like to thank you all for the love and support you have given our family.
It is my belief that the diversity and passion of Mike's friends has made the MCLF accomplishments so phenomenal. I know that our family is looking forward to many more years working with you all to make MCLF even more successful than it already is.
Mike didn't have a "circle of friends." He had an ocean of friends from all aspects of his life. We all had one common thread that brought us together and that was Mike. Remember that because of Mike each of our oceans are a little bigger too.
Mike left me one last gift before he died; the opportunity to get to know you all as I have, and what a gift it has been.
