Guest Bartender and Silent Auction at Brandywine Brewing Company
The Brandywine Brewing Company graciously hosted the Guest Bartender event and assisted us in handing out prizes from the silent auction and the basket raffle. During this event, many of your supporters of the MCLF heckled our guest bartenders, enjoyed some great prizes including three beach weekend getaways, and were able to enjoy all the benefits of a night out on the town while picking on their best friends for fun the entire time. Everyone enjoyed great times and has loads of fun, at for the small expense of some broken egos. All proceeds helped benefit the Mike Clark Legacy Foundation and will support programs for kids in our community. The MCLF has been a continuing supporter for the youth in the greater Delaware area and we know that this event will help our support of the youth community.
Thank you to the Brandywine Brewing Company.
Run 4 Mike's Kids - 4 Mile Run

In order to keep this type of event in order, the Hospitality Program was initiatied to help out-of-towners find places to stay. The MCLF encourages cyclists from other states to come visit us and join us for this great cycling event and savor the hills of Delaware and the neighboring counties in Pennsylvania. If you are on a budget, and prefer not stay in a motel or hotel, we have a limited number of local residents who will host one or more cyclists at their houses in the Wilmington area. Please contact Adam at asinger47@gmail.com for further information.
Space is limited and is on a first come-first served basis.
If you live in the Wilmington area and wish to learn more about being a host for this program, please also contact Adam at asinger47@gmail.com.

icicle run 2009
The pictures from the Icicle Run 2009 are finally posted online. You can view all the pictures here at our Mobile Me gallery. The Mike Clark Legacy Foundation was presented with a check for $1,000 from the race organizers – races2run.com – which Dave Ford accepted the check on behalf of the foundation.
The Mike Clark Legacy Foundation had a presence at the annual Icicle Run, aptly named this year on a very cold January morning. MCLF volunteers staffed the water stop in Rockford Park and helped with registration, water at the finish line, and post-race pizza delivery.
MCLF volunteers also will be staffing the start/finish line water stop for the annual Caesar Rodney Half Marathon in March.
